Frank Joseph Vitalo

Age 67, of Bear, DE, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2011 with his family by his side.

Frank was a heavy equipment operator for 41 years. He was a proud member of F.O.E. AERIE 3737.

Frank could always be counted on to make you smile. He attended Marshallton, Brandywine Springs, and Dickinson Schools.

He was the son of the late John and Philomena (Bagnoli) Vitalo. He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Maureen (Quinn); his son, Frank Joseph, Jr.; 2 brothers, John and his wife Mary Ann, Phillip and his wife Pat; 2 sisters, Pat Ried and JoAnn Hennessey and her husband Mike. He also leaves behind a loving aunt, Emma Montoro, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He will be greatly missed by his dogs, Stella, Suki, and Ming.

Celebration of Frank’s life will be at Delaware City Fire Hall, 815 5th St., Delaware City, on Saturday, November 26th at 11 a.m. Friends may call at the Delaware City Fire Hall, 815 5th St., Delaware City from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday morning. Interment is private.
