Obituary for Michael E. Indellini

Age 83, of Delaware City, DE and formerly of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully on Mon., Jan. 28, 2013, at Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care Team, Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE.

Born on August 18, 1929 in Philadelphia, Pa., he was the son of the late Luigi and Camilla DeSantis Indellini. He was a 1949 graduate of William Penn High School. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed in the Trust Department of Delaware Trust Company and later for the Superior Court of the State of Delaware, retiring after 20 years of service.

Mr. Indellini was preceded in death by his two sons, Barry and William.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Julia Orlando Indellini, with whom he shared 48 years of marriage; his daughters, Debra Murphy, Bridget Paris, and her husband, Steven; his brother, Silvio Indellini of Naples, FL; 9 grandchildren; 14 great- grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be on Monday, February 4, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Krienen Funeral Home, 34 West 6th Street, New Castle, DE 19720. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tues., Feb. 5, 2013, at 9:30 am at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 5th and Harmony Sts., New Castle, DE. Interment will be in Delaware Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Bear, DE.
