Passed away on November 28, 2015 after fighting courageously with injury and adversity for four years.
Steve graduated from Salesianum School in 1979, along with four first cousins. Steve’s family is just that big. Steve worked as a carpenter for Brosius-Eliason and eventually became an expert, independent home remodeler. He was a diehard St. Louis Rams fan. Steve loved sports and being outdoors. He particularly enjoyed time hunting.
He coached volleyball, basketball, and softball and served a term as President of Athletic Association of St. Peter’s Catholic School.
He was a strong intelligent, hardworking person who loved his family and friends.
Steve is preceded in death by his daughter and hero, Senior Airman Elizabeth Loncki, KIA Iraqi Freedom.
He is survived by his daughter Olivia Loncki; his parents, Walt and Chrissy Loncki; his siblings, Christine Masicello (Victor), Jennifer Gawinski (Bill), Scott Loncki (Sara), and Jamie Loncki (Cheryl). Also left to cherish Steve’s memory are his many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and good friends.
Steve tolerated his severe disability with grace, patience, and gratitude.
