Linda A. Horne
Passed away on Sunday September 18, 2016.
Linda was born in Wilmington to the late Harry and Florence (Yeatman) Horne. Linda worked for the Port of Wilmington for 30 years and loved animals and knitting. She knitted a baby blanket for her great nieces and nephews. Linda was also an avid reader of thriller novels and loved watching old movies.
Linda is preceded in death by two brothers, Harry (Carol) and William (Adrianne), and four sisters, Florence Cunningham (John), Dorothy Bruch (Robert), Kathryn Brittingham (William), and Marie Treml
Linda is survived by her sister, Evelyn Houghton and her husband, John, and brother-in-law, William Treml. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Highway, Elsmere, on Thursday, September 22, at 12:30 pm. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. Interment will be private.
