William P. "Windy" Windish II
Age 88 of Middletown
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 13, 2017.
Windy was a dedicated sheet metal worker for many years. He worked for both the I.D Griffith and E.J Deseta Companies and was a proud member of the Local Union 19. Windy loved his community and gave of himself as a volunteer football coach. He was a avid University of Delaware Football fan and 30 year season ticket holder. Windy's favorite pastime was spending time with his family and enjoying old western movies.
He is preceded by his 3 siblings, Ellen, Katie and Howard.
Windy will be dearly missed by his wife of 46 years, Dorothy "Dotti" Windish; his children, Sharon (David), Bill (Debbie), Beth (Preston), Steven, Michael (Patty), Robbie (Ann Marie), and Tony (Darlene); his 12 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
