Condolence: Dear Pat and family. I read with real regret the obituary for your sister, Penny. I remember her as a vibrant, talented artist and, like you, a scholar. It seems that she was much too young to have left us, but as I get older, I realize I am no longer young either. I had planned to attend today's service but find I cannot make it there. Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss and know that I think about you often. I do not know whether you are aware that our friend Donna passed away in June of 2011. We remained close friends and it was a real shock to everyone. I hope that all your happy memories of Penny will help heal the pain of her loss. Always, Brenda
