Age 69 of Wilmington
Passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017.
Phil proudly served his country in the United States Army for 3 years. He was the owner and operator of Greenhill Auto for 33 years. He owes his success to his faithful business partners, his wife, Maryann, and dear friend, Vince Apostolico, who worked with him for many years. Phil gave of himself in many ways including volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and the Boy Scouts Troop 66, 343, and 54. He was also the president of AASP and remained active with the organization even after his retirement. Phil loved woodworking, gardening, street rodding, and working on cars. But most of all, he cherished the time he spent with his family.
Phil is survived by his wife of 49 years, Maryann; his children, Harry (Melanie) and Phil Jr. (Jamie); and his four grandchildren, Pattie, Zach, Melissa, and Sean; and his beloved dog, Dozer.
All services will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family asks contributions to be made in Phil’s name to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Donor Services, P.O.Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202.
