Harvey H  Fisher
Passed away at his home on September 7, 2017.
Harvey was born in Tremont, PA to the late Laura and Harvey Fisher. He moved to Wilmington in 1964 and was employed by Wilmington General Hospital, Episcopal Church Home, and Brandywine School District.
Harvey’s volunteerism and devotion to his church was remarkable. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He loved his country and served in the Marines.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Shollenberger, and brothers, Donald and William Fisher.
Harvey leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 57 years, Bonnie; daughter, Tammy Bovee; sons, Troy (Laure), and Todd (Debbie). He is also survived by grandchildren, Steven and Stephanie Bovee, Shawn and Matthew Fisher, and Tyler and Ryan Fisher; great-grandchildren, Jayden and Carter West and Alex, Sydney, and Owen Bovee; sister, Barbara Hopstetter.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Service on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Zion Lutheran Church, 2101 Lancaster Avenue, Wilmington, DE 19805. Visitation will be at the church beginning at 10:30 am.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Harvey can be made to Hope Lutheran Church - Gulf Cove, 14200 Hopewell Ave, Port Charlotte, FL 33981 or Zion Lutheran Church c/o Building Repairs, 2101 Lancaster Ave, Wilmington DE 19805.
