John F. Giorgi
Age 77 of Wilmington
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 20, 2017. John was born to the late Salvatore and Livia Giorgi. After graduating from Wilmington High School, John proudly served in the Marine Reserves. For over 43 years he worked as a computer room supervisor at the Department of Labor. He was a devoted husband, father, and Pop-Pop. He loved cooking and spending time with his family and friends. John was a loyal fan of the Philadelphia Flyers, Eagles and Phillies.

In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his sisters, Antoinette Frank, Marie Annone, and Josephine Panariello.

John will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 53 years, Lucy (Janie); his son, John and his wife, Jennifer; his devoted daughter, Livia; his grandson, Andrew; his brothers, Joseph and Pietro;and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony of Padua located at 9th and DuPont Streets in Wilmington on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 11 am. Friends may call at the Krienen Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Elsmere, DE on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be private.
