She was born to George and Mary Rudy Billy, in Snow Shoe, PA, but lived most of her life in Wilmington. Her husband, Dominick, died in 1975. As a young widow, she went back to school, and worked various jobs to help support her children at home.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Antoinette; brother, John; and sister, Elizabeth. She is survived by her children; a son, Dominick, of Wilmington, DE; daughters, Donna (Jack) Ianire of Newark, DE, Patty (Chuck) Eder of Glen Burnie, MD, and Angela (Michael) Carder of Northborough, MA. She is also survived by a brother, George Billy of West Hempstead, NY; and a sister, Anna Jacopchek of Chicago, IL. She also leaves 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

In addition to being a homemaker, Jenny worked outside the home for many years, but she was most proud of her career at Agilent Technologies, formerly Hewlett Packard. In 1989 her co-workers chose her to be the Ambassador of the Avondale Division to the celebration of Hewlett Packard’s 50th Anniversary. She enjoyed traveling to Palo Alto and meeting with the company founders, Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard. She was a material operator and retired in 2007 after 27 years with the company. She went back to work at Agilent as a contract temp, leaving in 2009.

Jenny loved spending time with her family, having lunches with her former co-workers at Agilent, traveling, and spending her money at the casinos. She also enjoyed being a long-term member of St. Elizabeth Roman Catholic Church. She will be greatly missed by many people who knew her and loved her.

Church, Oak and Clayton Sts., Wilmington on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Friends may call at the church Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Interment in All Saints Cemetery, Newark, DE.
