Obituary for Joanne E. Denney

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 23, 2015
Joanne was born on September 13, 1938 to the late Marvin and Irene Denney. She graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Elementary Education. Joanne was a dedicated teacher in the Red Clay School Distract for 35 years.
Joanne greatly enjoyed reading, puzzle books, and was an avid college and professional football fan.
She will be dearly missed by her sister, Susan Forman, and dear companion, of 14 years, Charlie Robinson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Service for Joanne at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilm., DE 19805, on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 11:00 am. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00-11:00am. Interment will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asks contributions to be made to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way # 205, New Castle, DE 19720.
