Obituary for Patrick Kelly
Age 62 of Wilmington, DE
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Friday, May 20, 2016.
Pat was born in Wilmington to Alfred H. Bader and the late Pauline (McMillion) Bader.
Pat met the love of his life in 1987 and they married in January 1989.
Pat spent his days enjoying the company of his beloved wife and especially her cooking. Pat’s greatest joy was his grandsons, he cherished the humor and freshness they added to his life. He loved to laugh; his infectious laugh always filled the room. However being a great sports fan, Pat could also be found yelling at the radio, coaxing his favorite teams to victory.
He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Randy Bader and John Bader, and his nephew, Kenneth Montgomery, Jr.
Left to cherish Pat’s memory are his wife of 27 years, Cheri (Hightman) Kelly; his daughter, Gabrielle Manganaro, her husband, Philip Smallwood; and his two grandsons, Alec and Aiden Smallwood.
He additionally is survived by his siblings Alfred W. Bader, Laurie Montgomery (Ken), David Bader (Jacki), Daniel Bader (Christina), and Wendi Bader, as well as many nieces and nephews. Pat was also close to his wife’s siblings, nieces, and nephews. They will all dearly miss him.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the funeral service will be held at St. Catherine of Siena, 2503 Centerville Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808, on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 11:00am. Friends may call at the church from 10:00-11:00am. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery.
