Obituary for Linda Ann Jones
Passed away unexpectedly on Wed June 1, 2016.
Linda was born in Wilmington on Sept 10, 1960 to the late John R. “Jack” and Margaret Jones. Linda graduated from Conrad H.S. and worked 27 years with Agilent Technologies.
Linda cherished spending time with her family, friends and beloved Golden Retriever, Riley. She loved the outdoors, especially fishing at Cape Henlopen. Linda loved to cook and tinker around her house. Linda was a member of the West End Rod and Gun Club, where she enjoyed having fun and shooting pool, which she excelled at.
She was preceded in death by her 2 brothers, Ricky and Christopher.
Linda is survived by her sister, Roxanne Gilday (Gene); her 3 nieces, Buffy Dickson (Ian), Aimee McCurdy (Rob), and Jenna Meyer (John); her aunt, Marie Wolhar; 6 cousins; and great nieces and nephew, Tatum Kaylee, and Rykin.
Our family would like to especially thank nurses, Theresa and Jancy, of Christiana Hospital for their gracious care.
A memorial service will be held on Fri, Jun 10 at 11:00am at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilm., DE 19805. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday morning from 10:00-11:00am. Interment will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery.
