Obituary for Daniel J. "Danny" Paolino III

Daniel J. "Danny" Paolino III
Daniel J. Paolino III, age 56, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family and friends by his side.
Danny graduated from Conrad High School and went on to work as a proud member of the IBEW Local 313 Electrician Union for 35 years. He was also the Sergeant at Arms for the IBEW Motorcycle Club.
He had a passion for fishing, hunting, motorcycles and boating, and of course his beloved Lynyrd Skynyrd. Danny loved the beach, but his biggest passion was traveling. His last trip, taken in January was spent with his devoted wife Luann in their favorite place, Marathon Florida in the Florida Keys.
Danny is preceded in death by his mother and father, Daniel J. Paolino Jr. and Loretta Ann (Scott) Paolino.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Luann Paolino; daughters, Toni Cook, and Samantha Otterblad; granddaughter, Aubrey Cook; brother, Chuck Paolino; nephew, Chas. Paolino; as well as family members and friends, too many to name. Danny was a friend to those who knew him, and his quick wit and sense of humor endeared him to those who met him.
Friends may call at 1 pm at the IBEW Local Union 313 Banquet Hall, 814 West Basin Rd, New Castle, DE 19720, on Sunday, March 19. A Memorial Service will begin at 2 pm, Celebration of Life to follow. True to form, Danny made it clear to Luann that he prefers everyone who attends to wear their favorite t-shirt. Interment will be private
In lieu of flowers please make donations in Danny’s name to the Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 North 3rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123.
