Jacqueline D. Morrow
Age 89 of Georgetown
Passed away peacefully at Seasons Hospice at Christiana Hospital on April 8, 2017 following a brief illness.
Jackie was born in Newport, Delaware on July 20, 1927 to the late Madeline and Edwin J. Pickhaver.
She worked for over 40 years at Union Street Post House Restaurant. Jackie was a devoted wife, homemaker, and excellent cook. She loved sharing her delicious meals with all those she loved. Bingo was the name of her game and Jackie greatly enjoyed meeting with her friends to play whenever possible. Originally from Bear, she moved to Georgetown several years ago to reside with her niece and nephew, Tanya and Jerry Windish.
In additional to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Taylor, and brother, Edwin J. Pickhaver, Jr.
Jackie is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 73 years, Raymond “Doug” L. Morrow. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the doctors and staff of Season Hospice for their compassionate care of Jackie prior to and during her illness.
All service will be private.
