Obituary for Margaret L "Peggy" Hehman (Grace)

Passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Thursday, June 15, 2017.
Peggy was born September 12, 1930 in Port Deposit, Maryland to the late John and Mabel Grace.
She graduated from Claymont High School, and went on to work for Bell Telephone where she met her husband Lee (Bud) Hehman. Peggy left Bell Telephone and started her life long career as a homemaker.
Peggy loved antiquing with her sisters, she also enjoyed her Monday morning coffee at McDonalds with friends. She was a skilled seamstress, who especially enjoyed making dresses for her daughter’s weddings. What Peggy enjoyed most was time spent with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Lee (Bud) Hehman; grandson, Gregg Albanese; brothers, John, Richard and Eddie; and her sisters, Rose Marie and Kathy.
Peggy is survived by her children, Denis (Amy) Hehman, Patti (Larry) Albanese, Marianne (Gary) Worthy, and Kathy (Joe) Celano; 8 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; her sister, Bonnie Taylor; and brother Larry Grace.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to all who helped in providing love and care to Peggy over the past months. Especially her friends, Sheila Mcmahon, Peggy Siple, and Francie Forrest. The family also wishes to thank Kathy and Colette from Season’s Hospice; the Continuous Care Staff; and the Aides from Bayada, Bre, Rachel, and “T”.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at 11:00 at Corpus Christi R.C. Church, 905 New Road, Wilmington, DE 19805. A viewing will take place at the church on Wednesday morning from 9:00-10:30 am. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Elsmere Fire Company, 1107 Kirkwood Hw., Wilmington, DE 19805, or Corpus Christi Church.
