Kevin Murphy
Left the ballpark on Thursday, November 2, 2017.
Born on January 30, 1951 in Wilmington to Jack and Anne (Mcgann), Kevin was a graduate of Wilmington H.S. in 1969. He went on to begin his 31 year career as a postal distribution clerk at the Wilmington branch.
Kevin was a passionate Philly sports fan and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Anne Murphy. He is survived by his brother, Jay and sister-in-law, Debbie Daller; niece, Kelsey of Charlotte, N.C.; his aunt Loretta Caulfield of Manahawkin, N.J.; and numerous cousins; as well as his closest friends, John Zingone, Joseph Collavini, and Brittney Verucci.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Service at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19805 on Wednesday, November 8, at 11:00 am. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 to 11. Interment will take place in All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Hwy. Wilmington, DE 19808, following the service.
